Job Description

Position: Accountant

Department: Finance & Accounts

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 3-5 years

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial records, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and support the companys financial planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals.
Prepare and finalize accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements).
Handle Accounts Payable (vendor payments) and Accounts Receivable (collections).
Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
Assist in audits (internal, statutory, and tax).
Reconcile bank statements and monitor daily cash flow.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Process payroll and maintain employee expense records (if required).
Generate MIS reports and provide financial analysis for management.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
Proficiency in Tally ERP / SAP / QuickBooks / MS Excel.
Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other tax laws.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
