Job Description

As a Credit and Debit Note Specialist, your role involves preparing, reviewing, and processing credit and debit notes in compliance with company policies and accounting standards. You will be responsible for reconciling customer/vendor accounts associated with credit/debit notes and ensuring timely resolution of any discrepancies. It is crucial to maintain proper documentation and approval trails for all credit and debit notes. Your responsibilities will also include assisting in the month-end and year-end close processes, which entail journal entries and account reconciliations. Monitoring and analyzing accounting data to guarantee the accuracy of financial records will be part of your duties. You will be expected to generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and support internal and external audits by providing schedules and supporting documentation. Collaboration with sales, procurement, and operations teams to address billing issues and implement process improvements will be a key aspect of your role. Ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements is vital. Additionally, providing guidance and support to junior accounting staff is an essential component of this position.
