Job Description

Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:

Responsible for day-to-day accounting, GST/TDS compliances, and maintaining accurate books in Zoho Books to support smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Record all sales, purchases, receipts, and payments in Zoho Books and maintain ledgers, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations.

Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.), reconcile GST ledgers, and handle GST input credit.

Compute and deduct TDS, prepare TDS workings, and assist in TDS return filing and Form 16/16A.

Assist in monthly closing, journal entries, and preparation of basic financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet).

Coordinate with auditors/consultants and maintain proper documentation for all statutory compliances.

Qualifications:

B.Com / M.Com or equivalent with 13 years of accounting experience.

Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and solid knowledge of GST & TDS provisions.

Good Excel skills, attention to detail, and integrity in handling financial data.
