Job Description

As an Accountant at our company located in Naigaon, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, overseeing accounting tasks, invoice management, and dues collection. Your meticulous attention to detail and experience in financial operations will contribute to the smooth functioning of our organization. Preference will be given to candidates with international exposure, particularly those adept at handling transactions in foreign countries or dealing with multiple currencies. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, balance sheets, and income statements. Additionally, you will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, analyze financial data, and provide valuable insights and recommendations. Regular bank statement reconciliations will be essential to ensure the precision of financial records. Your role will also involve providing administrative support by managing office supplies, coordinating meetings, and assisting other departments as necessary. Tax compliance will be a key area of focus, requiring you to ensure adherence to local tax regulations, prepare and file tax returns, and collaborate with auditors during financial audits. Handling international transactions, foreign currencies, exchange rates, and compliance with international financial regulations will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with 1-5 years of accounting experience. Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books is required. A strong grasp of accounting principles, attention to detail, and accuracy in financial reporting are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is necessary. Candidates with a background in international settings or exposure to foreign currencies are preferred, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred candidates will have experience working with international clients or businesses, knowledge of multiple currencies and international financial regulations, and expertise in handling cross-border transactions and financial reporting.
