Accountant

As an Accountant at our multinational company, you will have the exciting opportunity to join our new Kochi office at Infopark, a leading IT hub in the region. Your role will involve managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities, executing financial transactions, and ensuring accurate recording. Additionally, you will prepare and analyze management accounts to facilitate informed decision-making. Posting monthly invoices and bank entries in the accounting software, along with maintaining accurate records of all sales/purchases and accounting-related activities, will also be part of your responsibilities. Your role will also require UAE VAT knowledge and filing returns, as well as working closely with Managers during external audits. Providing general admin support will be another aspect of your responsibilities. Qualifications required for this role include holding at least a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent. A professional accounting qualification and knowledge of IFRS standards will be considered advantageous. With more than 5 years of experience, preferably in the GCC region, you should be able to work effectively as part of a team, build relationships across the business, deliver within tight deadlines, and manage a diverse workload.
