We are currently seeking an Accountant with 5+ years of experience, preferably with GCC experience, to join our new office in Infopark, Kochi. As a multinational company headquartered in the UAE, we are expanding our operations to India and this role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of the initial phase of our journey, contributing towards the growth and success of our Indian operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing day-to-day bookkeeping activities, financial transactions, and ensuring accurate recording. Additionally, you will prepare and analyze management accounts to facilitate informed decision-making, post monthly invoices and bank entries in the accounting software, have knowledge of UAE VAT and filing returns, maintain accurate records of all sales/purchases, and collaborate with Managers during external audits. General admin support will also be a part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent, along with a professional accounting qualification and knowledge of IFRS standards. More than 5 years of experience, especially with GCC exposure, is preferred. You should have the ability to work effectively in a team, build relationships across the business, deliver under tight deadlines, manage diverse workloads, be self-driven for development and growth, and have a significant impact on daily activities and assigned tasks.
