As an Accountant at Tierra Contracting, you will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to strategic financial planning. Your responsibilities will include: - Meeting day-to-day accounting demands - Keeping cashbooks and petty cash updated regularly - Assessing the cash flow regularly - Preparing ledgers and P&L accounts - Preparing Income statement & Balance sheets - Suggesting financial policies and procedures based on the overall financial status of the organization - Maintaining the privacy of financial information and backing up databases when necessary - Rectifying any anomalies or inconsistencies discovered in the company's financial documents - Assessing accounting software applications and accounting control procedures Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree/ Masters Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred - 1-2 years of experience in accounting - Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work both independently and in a team setting Tierra Contracting is a leading contracting company based in Kochi, specializing in providing high-quality services across various sectors.
