Accountant

You will be responsible for managing all accounting transactions, preparing budget forecasts, and publishing financial statements in a timely manner. In addition, you will handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, compute taxes, and prepare tax returns. You will also manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements, report on the company's financial health and liquidity, and audit financial transactions and documents. Ensuring financial data confidentiality and conducting database backups when necessary, as well as complying with financial policies and regulations, will be part of your duties. To excel in this role, you must possess excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Hands-on experience with accounting software such as FreshBooks and QuickBooks is required. Proficiency in advanced MS Excel functions, including Vlookups and pivot tables, is essential. Experience with general ledger functions, strong attention to detail, and good analytical skills are also necessary. A BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field is required, and additional certification such as CPA or CMA is considered a plus.,
