Job Description – Junior Accountant

Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

Dr. Aravind's IVF Fertility & Pregnancy Centre is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support daily accounting and financial operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, handling day-to-day accounting activities, payment entries, bank reconciliation and assisting with financial reports.

Freshers and candidates with up to 5 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and financial records.
• Handle purchase, sales, receipt and payment entries.
• Prepare and verify invoices, bills and vouchers.
• Maintain cash book, petty cash and bank transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up when required.
• Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.
• Assist in GST-related documentation and reports.
• Support month-end closing and preparation of financial statements.
• Coordinate with internal departments for accounting-related activities.
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or relevant qualification.
• 0–5 years of experience in accounting.
• Freshers with good accounting knowledge can also apply.
• Basic knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Knowledge of GST and TDS will be an added advantage.
• Good numerical, analytical and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

• Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance)
