Job Description: Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
Prepare invoices, bills, receipts, vouchers, and payment records.
Handle accounts payable and receivable.
Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
Support payroll and employee expense processing.
Prepare basic monthly financial and expense reports.
Coordinate with vendors, banks, auditors, and tax consultants when required.
Ensure all accounting documents and records are properly maintained.
Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
5 -10 years of experience in accounting preferred.
Knowledge of Tally/Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.
Good knowledge of MS Excel.
Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Fluency in English.
