Job Title: Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment transactions accurately and on time.
* Manage accounts receivable and follow up on collections to ensure timely payments.
* Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
* Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
* Connect with Auto Insurance companies adjusters via email and phone to go over accounts and invoices
* Connect with Law Firms via email and phone to go over accounts and invoices
* Law firm Settlement payment collections
* Connect with Extended Health Insurance companies adjusters via email and phone to go over accounts and invoices
* Reconcile bank statements and account balances.
* Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
* Coordinate with clients and internal teams for billing and payment clarifications.
* Handle other finance-related administrative duties as required.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* 24 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (preferably with exposure to collections and invoicing).
* Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar).
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
