Accountant (Banking Sector)

As an Accountant in the Banking Sector at Swain Aluminium Pvt Ltd in Bhubaneswar, you will be tasked with managing various financial activities to ensure accurate records, efficient banking operations, and support the company's financial goals. With at least 2 years of accounting experience, your responsibilities will include conducting bank reconciliations, overseeing banking transactions, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, assisting with audits, and proposing process improvements for enhanced financial operations. Your key responsibilities will involve performing daily bank reconciliations to maintain consistency between bank statements and company records, managing and monitoring banking transactions like deposits and withdrawals, preparing and reviewing financial statements such as balance sheets and profit and loss accounts, supporting tax and regulatory compliance, facilitating audits by providing necessary documents, and suggesting process enhancements to optimize banking procedures. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, possess a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience with a focus on the banking sector, demonstrate proficiency in accounting software like Tally or QuickBooks as well as MS Excel, have a good understanding of banking operations, financial products, and regulatory requirements, exhibit strong attention to detail, accuracy, and communication skills to engage with bank representatives and internal teams effectively. Preferred qualifications include certifications such as Tally, CA Inter, or equivalent, prior banking experience in an accounting role, and familiarity with banking-related financial operations. This is a full-time permanent position with a salary range of 18,000 to 22,000 per month, negotiable based on your experience level.
