As a Cash Application Specialist, your primary responsibility will be processing cash applications, reconciliation, and reporting. You will support Global Services Management and operational leads in implementing strategic plans to achieve overall business objectives. Key responsibilities include resolving outstanding unallocated cash efficiently, addressing queries from internal and external customers, and performing tasks in various ERP applications. The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, along with 4-6 years of experience in Financial Accounting. Experience in BPO/Shared Services is preferable, and proficiency in ERP Oracle and MS Excel is mandatory. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. In addition to essential functions, effective communication at all levels, proficiency in MS Office tools, flexibility to work night shifts in the EST time zone, good interpersonal skills, a positive attitude towards change, and self-motivation with the ability to work under pressure are crucial. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, familiarity with office automation tools, and the capacity to work both independently and within a team are required. General knowledge of general ledgers and journal entries is beneficial. Key Performance Measures for this role include the accuracy and quality of transaction processing, adherence to timelines, and internal customer satisfaction.
