Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Kerala, India. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing financial insights to guide business decisions. Day-to-day tasks will include maintaining accurate ledgers, preparing budgets, assisting in audits, and handling accounts payable and receivable. The role will also involve analyzing financial information to recommend solutions for improving financial performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

Proficiency in financial management, including managing ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Strong skills in financial analysis, preparing budgets, and creating financial reports
Knowledge of tax compliance and regulatory requirements
Competence in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation
Good communication and team collaboration skills
Prior experience in a similar role or within the finance industry is preferred
