Job Description

Job Title: Accountant

Experience Required: 2 to 5 Years

Location: CHENNAI

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally / Zoho Books.
Maintain accurate books of accounts including ledgers, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and client invoicing.
Prepare GST, TDS, PF, and other statutory compliance filings.
Generate and analyze monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and P&L statements.
Assist in budgeting, cash flow management, and cost control.
Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all financial transactions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
2 to 5 years of accounting experience (preferably in construction/real estate/service industry).
Strong hands-on experience in Tally ERP or Zoho Books.
Knowledge of Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS reporting).
Strong attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving skills.
