Accountant

As a Financial Accountant, your role involves managing and maintaining financial records, including general ledger accounts and financial statements. You will be responsible for reviewing financial documents and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance. Your tasks will also include performing financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions, as well as complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data - Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc. - Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities - Maintaining accurate financial records - Performing audits and resolving discrepancies - Computing taxes - Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting - Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts - Preparing and reviewing annual/quarterly budgets, forecasts, and financial reports - Developing and implementing economic policies and procedures in the company - Reviewing and processing vendor invoices with an accurate booking of TDS/GST in the Oracle system - Providing timely financial information to support decision-making processes - Contributing to the overall financial health and stability of the organization Qualification Required: - Master's degree preferred - Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting - Proficiency in Malayalam preferred Additional Details: You will be working full-time on-site and will be entitled to health insurance benefits.
