Job Description

Role Overview: As a Cybersecurity Sales Account Executive in the Global Security Sales Organization at Cisco, you will play a crucial role in driving sales in the cybersecurity sector. Your primary focus will be to enhance security resilience for customers and communities by showcasing Cisco's comprehensive security portfolio and cross-selling solutions. Your entrepreneurial spirit and proactive approach will be key in building strong relationships and driving revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and lead security account plans and strategies for each assigned region and its accounts, leveraging available resources such as executive sponsors, marketing, technical teams, and services. - Drive double-digit revenue growth by identifying new projects, creating opportunities, and securing business attachments. - Accurately forecast and report activities using Salesforce.com, ensuring alignment with expectations. - Identify major projects within large accounts and lead initiatives to maximize product and services revenue. - Provide customers and partners with customized pricing and configurations to meet their specific needs. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 3+ years dedicated to selling security solutions. - Experience in selling network security solutions or SaaS security offerings. - Track record of exceeding sales targets. - Proficient in direct touch sales with experience in a matrixed organization. - Skilled at presenting to a predominantly technical audience. - Experience managing large deals and executing account and partner plans across geographic territories. - Ability to build and implement an account plan incorporating a total systems-based security approach. - In-depth knowledge of the Security Market. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. - Experience in applying solution-selling methodologies to drive corporate revenue growth. - Familiarity with MEDDPICC is a plus.
