Job Description

Objective:

Accounts Executive

Role & responsibilities

Transaction Recording:
Maintain accurate books of accounts for purchases, sales, returns, and stock adjustments.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Process vendor invoices, track payments, and follow up on customer collections.
Statutory Filings
: Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS, and other statutory obligations.
Bank & Ledger Reconciliation
: Prepare reconciliations for bank accounts and ledgers to ensure accuracy.
MIS Reporting
: Generate periodic reports for management, highlighting key operational and financial metrics.
Audit Support
: Assist in internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
Process Discipline
: Ensure adherence to accounting policies, compliance standards, and operational checklists.

Preferred candidate profile

Education: B.Com/M.Com or equivalent in Accounting/Finance.
Experience: 24 years of accounting experience, preferably in trading/manufacturing businesses.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP/SAP/other accounting software; MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
Soft Skills: Attention to detail, time management, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
Language: Tamil, English and Hindi (Hindi speaking is added advantage)
