Position: Accounts Executive

Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Experience: 3-5 years

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain books of accounts in Tally / QuickBooks / Zoho Books

• Record day-to-day transactions, bank reconciliations, and cash flow statements

• Prepare monthly & annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

Taxation & Compliance

• Handle GST filing (GSTR-1, 3B, annual returns) and TDS compliance (24Q, 26Q, 27Q)

• Issue Form 16/16A and manage Professional Tax, Income Tax, and statutory filings

• Coordinate with CA for audits and tax submissions

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Process vendor invoices and payments

• Generate customer invoices for hardware, software, and project milestones

• Manage receivables, follow-ups, and aging reports

Project Accounting & Audit Support

• Track project costs, milestone billing, and retention money

• Manage bank/performance guarantees and documentation for defense projects

• Prepare for statutory, internal, and tax audits

Payroll & HR Support

• Process payroll, reimbursements, PF/ESI deductions

• Maintain employee cost records and expense claims

Inventory & Assets

• Maintain stock of components and finished goods

• Manage fixed asset register and depreciation

Financial Reporting

• Prepare MIS reports, budget variance analysis, and cash flow forecasting

• Support management in strategic financial planning

Required Skills & Qualifications

B.Com / M.Com with 35 years of experience

Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian tax laws

Proficiency in Tally ERP / QuickBooks / Zoho Books (mandatory)

Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)

Experience with project-based accounting preferred

Familiarity with government/defense sector accounting is a plus
