Account Executive- GST

As an Account Executive at Ethics Group of Companies, your role will involve supporting finance and accounting operations under the guidance of the Finance Manager. You will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring tax compliance, and assisting in various financial processes. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Manager in preparing financial statements, reports, and other accounting documentation. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records to facilitate smooth operations. - Support GST-related activities such as filing returns, data reconciliation, and compliance with regulations. - Aid in managing taxation matters including income tax, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements. - Ensure TDS compliance by verifying deductions, preparing returns, and timely deposits. - Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and meet deadlines effectively. - Uphold the confidentiality and integrity of financial and sensitive information. - Diligently follow instructions and guidelines provided by the Manager. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Prior experience as an accountant in an E-commerce company will be advantageous. - Basic knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in MS Excel. - Familiarity with GST, TDS, and general taxation concepts. - Hands-on experience with accounting software, preferably Tally. - Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in work output. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and accurately follow instructions. - Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving procedures and regulations. - Previous experience in accounting or taxation will be considered an asset.,
