Job Description

Role Overview: This role is responsible for attracting prospective students to the University through strategic planning, national and international promotion, and by facilitating a smooth and student-friendly admission process. The Admission Counsellor will serve as the first point of contact for students and their families, providing accurate and timely information about courses, the university environment, and the application process. Key Responsibilities: Conduct calling/tele-calling to prospective students and parents to schedule counselling sessions. Engage with students during counselling to answer queries related to courses, university facilities, scholarships, placements, and more. Review and guide prospective students through the application process and refer them to appropriate departments as needed. Provide clear and detailed information regarding admission requirements and necessary documentation. Conduct campus tours to introduce students and parents to university infrastructure and offerings. Represent the university at school visits, seminars, educational fairs, and other promotional events. Manage the end-to-end admission process—from application form assistance to post-visit follow-up and final admission. Maintain regular follow-up with potential candidates to ensure effective closure. Stay up to date with changes in admission policies, criteria, and procedures. Plan and organize outreach activities like expert talks, workshops, and health check-up camps. Make 100–150 calls per day during peak admission seasons as part of outreach KPIs.
