Overview:
Raju's Aviation Academy is seeking a dedicated Academic Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing academic guidance and support to prospective and current students, helping them make informed decisions regarding their education and career paths. As an Academic Counsellor, you will be expected to build strong relationships with students, parents, and faculty members, and guide students in achieving their educational and professional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counselling & Guidance: Provide counselling to students regarding the courses offered, career options, and admission procedures.
• Course Information: Explain various academic programs, including admission requirements, curriculum, and career opportunities.
• Student Support: Assist students with the application process, answer their questions, and provide necessary guidance throughout their academic journey.
• Follow-ups: Maintain regular follow-up with prospective students, ensuring they are well-informed and making the best academic choices.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress. Generate reports as needed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as the admissions team, academic staff, and administration to ensure smooth operations.
• Promotions & Events: Participate in promotional events, workshops, and webinars to attract and retain students.
• Student Retention: Provide support to students throughout their tenure at the academy, enhancing their learning experience and ensuring a high retention rate.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 1-3 years in academic counselling or a related field.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to interact with students, parents, and faculty with empathy and professionalism.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to understand student concerns and provide appropriate solutions.
• Knowledge: A good understanding of the academic programs and career opportunities in the aviation industry.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of CRM tools.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a hybrid or remote work environment.
