Job Description

The Academic Counselor will be responsible for providing guidance to prospective students regarding educational programs, admission processes, and career opportunities. The role involves counseling, telesales, and follow-ups to ensure student enrollment and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel students on academic programs, career prospects, and admission requirements.
Handle inbound and outbound calls to generate and convert leads into admissions.
Assess students’ needs, preferences, and academic background to recommend suitable courses.
Guide students through the entire admission process, from inquiry to enrollment.
Maintain and update student records in the CRM system.
Achieve monthly and quarterly admission/enrollment targets.
Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective students through phone, email, and messages.
Stay updated with industry trends, academic offerings, and competitive programs.
Provide excellent support to ensure a positive student experience.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (preferred in education, counseling, or related fields).
Proven experience in academic counseling, admissions, telesales, or education services is an advantage.
Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand student needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Target-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
