Academic Counselor

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Freelance Senior Academic Counselor to provide advanced academic guidance to students and strategic support to academic programs. This role involves handling complex academic cases, mentoring junior counselors when required, and contributing to high-quality student success outcomes while working independently on a flexible, contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver in-depth one-on-one academic counseling sessions to students
• Guide students on academic planning, course selection, progression, and long-term educational goals
• Address complex academic concerns and develop structured improvement plans
• Support students with study strategies, time management, and performance enhancement
• Monitor student progress and maintain detailed, confidential records
• Provide guidance and oversight to junior counselors or advisors (as assigned)
• Collaborate with admissions, faculty, and student support teams when necessary
• Prepare academic reports, insights, and recommendations for institutions or clients
• Ensure ethical standards, confidentiality, and best counseling practices are followed

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
• Significant experience (X+ years) in academic counseling, advising, or student support
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex academic cases independently
• Strong communication, mentoring, and leadership skills
• Comfort working as an independent freelance professional

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
