Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background

    :
  • Master's degree required (pure science, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, AI, or related fields)
  • Candidates pursuing or holding a Ph.D. may apply.

  1. Preferred Qualifications:

While not mandatory, candidates with the following background or expertise will be at an advantage

  • Strong foundational knowledge of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), and Business Analytics or Supply Chain Management
  • For Operations Management, Master's degree preferred in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science or Statistics
  • Familiarity with Big Data frameworks and business applications
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R
  • Advanced quantitative and analytical skills, including experience in Quality Engineering, Task Scheduling, and Optimization Techniques
  • Experience with project-based tools and methodologies related to Quantitative Analysis and Statistical Modelling

  • Fundamental proficiency in mathematics and statistics.
  • Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, and academic support in higher education setup preferred.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel functions, including data sorting, VLOOKUP, filters, descriptive statistics, and chart creation.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital tools for managing course materials and student data are desirable.

Assist in Course Development, Delivery and Management

Support in the setup, management, and delivery of courses, ensuring effective learning experiences. Tasks include managing in-class activities, LMS, grading assignments, providing feedback, and proctoring exams. Support for developing new material when needed.

Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, offer personalized support, and assist with understanding course content. Conduct tutorials and offer targeted academic assistance. Ensure students receive timely help with their queries and develop key academic skills.

Documentation and Audit Compliance

Ensure fulfilment of audit requirements by accurately documenting all grading, student communications, and course-related interactions. Maintain organized records to support internal audits and compliance reviews.

Professional Development and Certification

Audit courses for certification requirements (teaching or research).

Attend workshops, seminars, and peer learning sessions focused on both instructional strategies and research development.

Participate in faculty-led research projects to develop research skills and gain experience, enhancing overall research competencies (subject to opportunity).
