Academic Advisor-Freshers

Job Summary:

The Academic Advisor is responsible for providing comprehensive academic guidance to students to support their educational and career goals. This position involves assisting students with course planning, program requirements, academic policies, and resources that enhance student success and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise undergraduate and/or graduate students on academic plans, course selection, major/minor declaration, and degree progress.
• Assist students in developing academic goals and strategies for success, including time management, study skills, and career planning.
• Monitor student academic performance and provide interventions or referrals as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of institutional policies, academic programs, graduation requirements, and support services.
• Collaborate with faculty and academic departments to support student retention and graduation.
• Use advising management systems (e.g., Banner, DegreeWorks, Starfish) to maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Participate in orientation, registration, and other student support events.
• Refer students to appropriate resources (career services, counseling, tutoring, etc.).
• Prepare reports on student progress and advising activities.
• Stay current with trends and best practices in academic advising

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
