AC Technician

As an Auto Electrician at Galaxy Auto Works, your role involves installing new vehicle wiring systems, troubleshooting immobilizer and alarm systems, and diagnosing electrical issues based on customer feedback. You will be responsible for proposing repair solutions, providing estimated costs and completion times, and ensuring a clean working environment. Your tasks will include repairing and replacing faulty wiring, servicing electrical automotive parts, and maintaining agricultural vehicle electrical systems. Key Responsibilities: - Install new vehicle wiring systems - Troubleshoot immobilizer and alarm systems - Gather information from customers about electrical issues - Diagnose electrical problems and propose repair solutions - Provide customers with estimated repair costs and completion times - Repair and replace faulty wiring or electrical systems - Service electrical automotive parts - Maintain agricultural vehicle electrical systems - Complete job reports and paperwork - Perform vehicle scanning and diagnosis - Rebuild electrical units such as starters, generators, and door controls - Repair or replace defective wiring - Adjust ignition timing and distributor breaker-point gaps - Test and repair starters, generators, and distributors - Operate tools and equipment safely - Perform other tasks as needed Qualifications Required: - High school diploma and auto electrical qualification certificate - Proven work experience as an auto electrician - Advanced knowledge of modern vehicular electrical systems - Ability to work in confined spaces - Complex problem-solving skills - Ability to operate electrical diagnostic equipment - Good communication skills - Ability to work standing or in a crouched position for long periods - Ability to distinguish subtle color variations In addition to the qualifications, you must hold a four-wheeler driving license and be proficient in driving.
