Must Have Skills

Ab Initio GDE, MS SQL, Unit Testing, Performance Tunning, An Initio Development, Production Go-Live, ETL, Requirement Analysis, ADO/JIRA, RDMBS.

Experience:

• Minimum 5-6 years of experience architecting and building data platforms on Ab Initio.
• Proficiency in Ab Initio

  and\or

  Express>IT Development
• Familiarity with Ab Initio ETL concepts.
• Databases: - MS SQL, SQL
• Data Management & Governance: - Data Acquisition, Data Integration, Data Operation, Data Profiling, Master Data Management
• Business Documentation: - High Level Design Document, Low Level Design Document, Requirement Analysis Document, Technical Design Document, Test Reports, Technical Implementation Plan etc.
• Candidate must be ready for supporting any major job failures as a Development in case of emergency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill with ability to work with team members and external stakeholders.
• Domain knowledge\working experience of Investment banking with International Clients will be good to have skill.

1. Ab Initio developer with good hands on in development using GDE and\or Express>IT
2. Researching, Designing, and Developing complex components for Ab Initio applications with quality coding
3. Interacting with Business Analysts and end users for requirements gathering
4. Coding Ab Initio graphs and components using ETL tools (Ab Initio GDE) and ensuring they are in line with user requirements
5. Tuning Ab Initio process by maximizing the use of components and MFS file system to achieve a reduction of total process time.
6. Storing, retrieving, and manipulating data by building queries for system analysis and requirements
7. Implementing design decisions using design patterns and plans in Ab Initio and creating UNIX\LINUX wrapper scripts to handle the complex transformation logic
8. Performing Unit Testing, Coding, Design, Documentation and Code deployment to higher environment
9. Executing deliverables to ensure the deadlines are met in a timely manner
10. Understanding of RDBMS Database concepts (MS SQL or Oracle Database)
