Job Summary

SAP ABAP Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and enhance

  SAP ABAP programs

  including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms
• Work on

  ALV reports, SmartForms, SAP Scripts

  , and basic Adobe Forms
• Develop and modify

  RFCs, BAPIs, Function Modules

  , and user exits
• Debug and resolve issues in existing ABAP programs
• Support integration with SAP modules such as

  MM, SD, FI, PP

• Participate in

  unit testing, bug fixing, and production support

• Prepare technical documentation and follow development standards
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in

  SAP ABAP development

• Strong knowledge of:
• Classical & Interactive Reports
• ALV (OO & Classical)
• SmartForms / SAP Scripts
• Internal Tables, Data Dictionary
• Enhancements, BADI, User Exits
• Basic exposure to

  IDocs, BAPI, RFC

• Good debugging and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of SAP development lifecycle

Good to Have

• Exposure to

  S/4HANA ABAP (CDS views, AMDP – basic understanding)

• Experience in support or implementation projects
• Knowledge of basic performance optimization

Soft Skills

• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new SAP technologies

Location Preference

• Candidates must be

  based in Kolkata

  or willing to relocate
