Job Title: Sales Manager – Loan Products Location: Mumbai Goregaon Department: Sales / Retail Lending Reports To: Head of Sales / Regional Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive the growth of our loan products, including personal loans, business loans, home loans, and loans against property. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets through direct and channel sales. Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote various loan products. Manage a team of loan sales executives/DSAs to ensure target achievement. Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team to improve performance and productivity. Target Achievement: Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and ensure they are met or exceeded. Monitor sales metrics and prepare regular performance reports. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify and acquire new customers for loan products through field visits, networking, and referrals. Maintain long-term relationships with existing customers for repeat business and referrals. Channel Management: Manage and grow a network of Direct Selling Agents (DSAs) and partners. Ensure smooth coordination with channel partners to generate high-quality leads. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that all loan applications are processed in compliance with regulatory and internal policies. Oversee accurate documentation and timely processing of loan applications. Market Analysis: Stay updated on competitor offerings and market trends. Provide feedback to the product team to improve loan features and customer experience. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred). Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in loan sales, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role. Skills: Strong understanding of retail loan products (personal, home, business, LAP). Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Leadership qualities with the ability to manage a team and drive performance. Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office. Preferred Qualities: Experience working with banks, NBFCs, or loan aggregators. Existing network of DSAs or brokers. Goal-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, converting them into successful loan disbursements, and achieving monthly sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation : Generate potential leads through cold calling, field visits, digital platforms, references, and tie-ups with builders, car dealers, and property consultants. Client Consultation : Understand customer loan requirements, explain loan products, eligibility criteria, and documentation process. Loan Products Handling : End-to-end sales process for Personal Loan, Business Loan, Home Loan, Loan Against Property, and Used Car Loan.
