Role & Responsibilities Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, onboarding. Handle HR operations including payroll processing, employee lifecycle management, exit formalities, and HRIS updates. Administer attendance, leave, and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, etc.). Develop and implement HR policies, employee handbooks, and SOPs in alignment with company values and legal standards. Act as the primary point of contact for all employee grievances, engagement initiatives, and disciplinary actions. Coordinate with external agencies such as consultants, legal advisors, and payroll vendors. Maintain administrative oversight of office supplies, contracts, travel arrangements, and overall office discipline. Ensure proper documentation of employee records, contracts, and compliance reports. Create and manage reports on recruitment metrics, payroll summaries, and attrition analysis for management review. Drive a culture of ownership, performance, and professionalism across teams. Preferred Candidate Profile Age: 34 to 42 years Minimum 15-17 years of progressive HR experience with strong exposure to recruitment, payroll, compliance, and admin functions. Preferably from SMEs, startups, or mid-sized companies where they've handled HR independently or in a lean setup. Hands-on experience with payroll software, HRMS systems, and compliance tools. Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory obligations, and HR documentation. Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle pressure. Excellent communication skills in English and local language (if applicable). Should have a problem-solving mindset, high ownership, and ability to multitask across functions. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
