Deep expertise in switches, routers, and networking fundamentals is crucial, alongside preferred certifications such as CCNA, JNCIE, or higher. Proficiency in Linux, VMware ESXi, and firewalls is required, along with familiarity with 802.1x/NAC, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity best practices.
