Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Connection Design Engineer based in Chennai. The responsibilities include creating and reviewing connection designs based on project requirements, utilizing engineering standards and practices. The engineer will employ software tools such as mathcad to design efficient solutions, analyze structural components, and ensure conformance with safety and quality standards. Collaboration with project managers, engineers, and clients is an integral part of this role to meet project timelines and objectives.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in connection Design Engineering
• Expertise in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, Mathcad.
• Experience in American code (AISC)
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and meet project deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in connection design or a similar engineering role
• Familiarity with structural steel fabrication and erection is a plus
