3D Developer - Three.js

About the Role
Were seeking an experienced Software Developer with strong expertise in Three.js to build high performance, interactive 3D web applications. Youll work closely with our design and backend teams to deliver real-time visual experiences for use cases such as product configurators, training simulators, and enterprise digital twins.This is a strategic role where youll help lay the foundation for reusable components, rendering pipelines, and performance-optimized deployment.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop 3D applications using Three.js and WebGLTranslate 3D concepts and storyboards into interactive browser-based experiencesBuild reusable Three.js modules (loaders, animations, shaders, interactions)Integrate 3D content with APIs, UI elements, and dynamic data sourcesOptimize rendering performance for smooth cross-device compatibilityCollaborate with designers and backend developers for seamless integrationEnsure scalability, maintainability, and cross-browser compatibilityTroubleshoot rendering and interaction issues in production builds

Required Skills & Experience4-5 years of hands-on experience in Three.js developmentStrong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end frameworks like ReactSolid understanding of 3D graphics fundamentals lighting, cameras, materials, and shadersExperience with 3D file formats (.glb, .gltf, .obj) and asset optimizationFamiliarity with version control (Git) and modern development workflowsStrong debugging skills and attention to performance

Good to HaveKnowledge of XR frameworks (WebXR, A-Frame) or physics engines (Cannon.js)Exposure to 3D tools like Blender, Maya, or CAD-to-Three.js pipelinesExperience with analytics/event tracking inside 3D environmentsUnderstanding of asset hosting, CDN optimization, and lazy loading for large scenesPrevious work on interactive training modules, digital twins, or 3D product demos
