2D Artist

You will be joining the creative team at Chicmic Studios as a talented 2D Artist. Your main responsibility will involve creating visually appealing 2D assets for various projects such as games, apps, and digital media. Collaborating closely with designers, developers, and animators, you will play a key role in producing high-quality artwork that aligns with project requirements and visual storytelling. Your key roles and responsibilities will include designing and producing 2D characters, environments, user interfaces, backgrounds, and props. You will be expected to generate concept sketches and illustrations, optimize art assets for different platforms, maintain visual consistency across all project assets, and incorporate feedback from clients and team members to enhance artwork quality. To excel in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in 2D art and animation. Prior experience in the gaming industry or app development will be beneficial. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Figma, as well as familiarity with AI image generators and frame-by-frame animations is required. A strong portfolio showcasing your 2D art and animation work, creative vision, attention to detail, communication skills, and teamwork abilities are essential for success in this position. Additionally, knowledge of UI/UX design principles specific to Game Design and familiarity with 3D art software like Blender, ZBrush, and Maya will be advantageous. Skills in ZBrush, 2D animation, Autodesk Maya, and Blender are key areas where you should excel to thrive in this role.,
