2D Animator

As a 2D Digital Animator at Lumicel Animation Studios, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple international television series alongside animation experts and trainers from Canada and France. Your responsibilities will include: - Having 2-10 years of experience as a 2D animator and/or animation rigger - Holding a degree/diploma from a recognized animation school or institute - Demonstrating excellent proficiency in Industry Standard Animation Softwares such as Adobe Flash, Toon Boom Harmony - Possessing a strong understanding of animation principles including Staging, Exaggeration, Solid Drawing & Appeal, Shape & Form, Line of Action & Silhouette, Action & Reaction, Tension, Beat & Rhythm, Straights & Curves, Volume & Perspective - Exhibiting effective time management skills, a strong sense of timing, and excellent character draftsmanship - Having experience with 2D character animation for television or an impressive demo reel - Meeting production milestones and deadlines while motivating the team to do the same - Showcasing a strong ability to organize, prioritize, work under pressure, and meet production deadlines - Demonstrating drive, determination, creative problem-solving skills, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and being an exceptional team player The positions available at Lumicel Animation Studios include: - Senior-level Animator: 6+ years of experience producing high-quality animation for Television Animation Series - Mid-level Animator: 3-4+ years of experience producing high-quality animation for Television Animation Series - Junior Animators: 1-2+ years of work experience - Trainee Animators: No experience required, but digital drawing skills or artistic talent are preferred as you will be trained to become a world-class animator If you are passionate about animation and looking for a challenging opportunity with competitive salary and growth potential, send your resume and showreel to hiring@lumicel.net.
