2D & 3D Designer

The position of 2D & 3D Designer for Modular Kitchens & Wardrobes at AMAC Kitchens & Wardrobes in Mohali requires a candidate with 14 years of experience. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for creating detailed 2D working drawings and layouts for modular kitchens and wardrobes. Your role will involve developing high-quality 3D views and renders to assist clients in visualizing design concepts. Additionally, you will need to interpret client requirements and translate them into functional and aesthetic layouts. Collaboration with the sales team and production department is essential to ensure design accuracy and feasibility. You will also be expected to make revisions based on client feedback and site measurements, maintaining organized project files throughout the process. It is imperative that your designs align with brand standards, material availability, and practical installation norms. The ideal candidate should possess proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D layout and working drawings, as well as expertise in software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, or any other 3D modeling and rendering tools. A good understanding of materials, finishes, and fittings used in modular furniture is required, along with the ability to incorporate site dimensions into designs. Attention to detail, space planning skills, and a basic knowledge of technical aspects like hardware, carcass construction, and shutter finishes are also essential for this role. Preferred qualifications include a Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Drafting, with previous experience in the modular kitchen or wardrobe industry being advantageous.
