Hi All,

We are looking for 1040 reviewer/Lead Analyst

Location: Chennai

Work Mode: Onsite

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced 1040 Tax Reviewer to join our tax team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing individual tax returns (Form 1040) for accuracy, compliance, and completeness. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of tax regulations, and the ability to provide high-quality service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and Analyse individual tax returns (Form 1040-HNI/1040NR/1040X/1041) for
accuracy and compliance with federal and state tax laws.
Should have good knowledge on Sch A, B, C, D, E & F and capable of identify the necessary
tax treatment for these Schs.
Ensure all necessary documentation, deductions, credits, and tax calculations are correctly
applied.
Identify potential errors, discrepancies, and areas for tax savings opportunities.
Provide constructive feedback to tax preparers and assist in resolving complex tax issues.
Stay updated on current tax laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and
efficiency.
Communicate with clients and internal teams to clarify tax-related issues and gather
additional information if required.
Assist with training junior staff members and tax preparers as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical tax practices in all work.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a CPA firm or tax preparation service.
Familiarity with tax planning and advisory services.
Knowledge of business tax returns (Forms 1065, 1120, 1120S) is a plus.
