About the Role: We are seeking a results-driven Data Analyst to join our eCommerce product team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in understanding user behavior, creating actionable funnels, and delivering insights that drive product performance and growth. Your analysis will help guide decisions across the user journey from acquisition to conversion and retention. Key Responsibilities: Funnel Creation & Optimization: Design, build, and maintain detailed eCommerce funnels across platforms (web and app). Analyze each stage of the user journey to identify conversion drop-offs and growth opportunities. Support product and marketing teams with insights to improve funnel performance. Data Analysis & Insights: Use data to uncover trends, patterns, and user behaviors impacting business KPIs. Perform deep-dive analyses on product performance, customer behavior, and campaign impact. Create actionable recommendations based on findings to support product and growth decisions. Analytics Tools & Reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude , or similar for event tracking and behavioral insights. Build and maintain dashboards using SQL and visualization platforms such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI , or equivalent. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key metrics and ensure accurate reporting. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, UX designers, engineers, and marketers to define data requirements and experiment designs. Present data findings in a clear, concise, and actionable format to stakeholders. Requirements: 2- 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within an eCommerce or consumer product environment. Hands-on experience with analytics tools (e.g., GA, Mixpanel, Amplitude) and event-based tracking. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI , or similar. Basic knowledge of statistical concepts and comfort interpreting A/B tests or user experiments. Strong communication skills and ability to translate data into actionable business insights. Ability to work full-time from our Banglore office. Nice to Have: Experience working with product analytics and growth teams. Familiarity with customer segmentation, cohort analysis, and retention tracking. Exposure to data warehousing tools like BigQuery or Snowflake .
