The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for implementing a full stack software technology stack to support remote services. You will be involved in the development and maintenance of Vertivs Cloud Platform, requiring expertise in Angular, .NET Core, Azure Cloud, web development, database, and messaging service technologies. Collaborating with a software architect/Technical lead and other software engineers, you will contribute to the overall system design and development. Your key responsibilities will include leading the design, development, debugging, and testing of the full stack software solution. You will own system features throughout the implementation process, actively participate in the design and specification phase, ensure user interface implementation aligns with design principles and branding standards, and provide development estimates based on engineering specifications. Collaborating in a team environment, you will manage work efforts, develop prototypes, ensure clear interfaces between software components, adhere to coding standards, and develop reusable components for common functionality. Additionally, you will be expected to identify and mitigate risks, provide continuous improvement suggestions, offer technical recommendations to various stakeholders, and adhere to software security principles. Your qualifications should include a degree in Computer Science or a related field, at least 5 years of software development experience, expertise in web application design, object-oriented programming, software design patterns, troubleshooting, and experience with various technologies such as SOA, databases, web services, etc. Proficiency in Angular, .NET Core, JavaScript frameworks, and other relevant technologies is required. Furthermore, experience with agile development methodology, debugging, software security principles, creating engineering specifications, and test plans will be valuable. Familiarity with cloud development, containerization, IoT protocols, and knowledge of the data center and telecom industries are advantageous but not mandatory. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
