About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented Sr. Accounts Executive with 5 year of experience in real estate accounting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Zoho Books, project costing, GST, TDS, e-invoicing, and e-way bill compliances. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Maintain full set of accounts: journal entries, ledgers, vouchers, reconciliation of all accounts. · Project Costing: track project expenses, cost codes, work with site / project teams to validate billed vs actual costs. · Prepare invoices, ensuring correct calculation and application of e-invoicing (if applicable) and e-way bill compliances. · Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable: vendor invoices, client billing, ensure timely payments and collections. · TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) calculation, deduction, filing and reconciliation. · GST compliance, if relevant (registration, return filing, reconciliation of input tax credit). · Bank reconciliations and cash/bank ledger balancing. · Prepare monthly / quarterly MIS / financial reports for management. · Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control analysis. · Work with auditors for audit schedules, documentation, and queries. · Maintain accurate records and documentation for all accounting entries, invoices, costings etc. · Support compliance with statutory C regulatory requirements relevant to real estate operations. Required Skills and Knowledge · Strong working knowledge of Zoho (Books / Invoice / Books + relevant Zoho modules) for accounting, invoicing, tracking. · Experience with project costing understanding cost estimation, tracking, variance analysis Familiarity with e-invoicing and e-way bill processes, regulations, and tools. · Solid understanding of TDS, its calculation, deductions, and filing. · Good grasp of accounting principles, bookkeeping, reconciliations. · Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups etc.). · Detail-oriented and accurate with numbers and documentation. · Ability to work to deadlines, manage multiple projects / accounting cycles in parallel. · Good communication skills ability to liaise with internal teams (projects, operations, management) and external parties (vendors, tax authorities, auditors).
