What we are looking for: ZF Steering Gear (INDIA) Ltd is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager-Civil to provide high quality, efficient and proactive work in our Civil Department. Working closely with Civil Manager and other team members, this is a position for someone wanting to significantly contribute to business performance of our company. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: 1. Should be flexible to changes in work/site location 2. Completing project pre-planning processes, such as cost estimations and budgeting. 3. Team handling experience. 4. Establishing construction schedules. 5. Negotiating contracts and obtaining permits. 6. Managing on-site construction personnel. 7. Reviewing compliance with safety guidelines and standards. 8. Review land surveys, assess project estimations and budgets, inspect existing structures, create design plans, and review potential safety issues. 9. Responsible for negotiating the contracts of subcontractors, communicating with inspectors and architects, meeting with construction managers, and coordinating the delivery of materials with vendors. 10. To generate reports focusing on project progress, job status, and costs. Attend weekly or biweekly meetings to present progress information to superiors. 11. Should be capable of checking measurements, verification of bills, create payment certificates for vendors Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Civil Proficient in AutoCAD Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Professional attitude and appearance Good written and verbal communication skills in English, Marathi& Hindi Good organizational skills Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks Customer service attitude
