The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) position at 1doc OS in Gurugram (India preferred) is a full-time leadership role requiring at least 8+ years of experience in building scalable tech platforms or operating systems. 1doc OS is a comprehensive healthcare infrastructure stack that enables real-time care, identity-verified access, offline support, AI collaboration, and secure communication across 45+ applications within the ecosystem. As the CTO of 1doc OS, you will be responsible for leading the architecture, engineering strategy, and execution of a cloud-first, identity-enforced, communication-enabled operating system for healthcare. You will play a crucial role in transforming ambitious infrastructure vision into production-level systems. Your key responsibilities will include owning the technical roadmap and system architecture, leading multi-layer integration, driving system-wide security and communication protocols, collaborating with various teams, building and managing an engineering team, ensuring reliability and scalability, overseeing release cycles and deployment infrastructure, and pushing boundaries in healthcare infrastructure operation. The ideal candidate should possess 8+ years of experience in building large-scale platforms or infra stacks, demonstrate leadership in delivering resilient and secure architectures, have expertise in cloud infrastructure, real-time systems, APIs, and backend scalability, understand identity, encryption, and zero-trust systems, and preferably have prior experience in healthcare or multi-modal systems. An entrepreneurial mindset and a focus on deep tech innovation are essential qualities for this role.
