Job Title: Optics Design Engineer We are seeking a young and dynamic Optics Design Engineer with 34 years of experience in the design of telescope optics and lens assemblies. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background from a reputed institution and hands-on experience in optical system design for advanced imaging and sensing applications. Key Requirements: Masters degree in Optical Engineering , Applied Optics , or M.Sc. Tech in Optics from a reputed institution. Proficiency in optical design software such as CODE V , Zemax , and ANSYS . Proven experience in the design and development of: Telescope optics Multi-element lens assemblies Zoom lenses Fiber optic components Strong understanding of: Zernike analysis Tolerance analysis MTF (Modulation Transfer Function) and other image quality performance metrics Knowledge of athermal design techniques for telescope systems. Ability to generate fabrication and inspection data sheets compliant with ISO standards . Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile
