Job Summary: As a CMM Programmer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing programs for Coordinate Measuring Machines used to inspect and verify the dimensions of manufactured parts and components. Your proficiency in metrology, programming, and quality control will be essential to ensure that our products meet all specifications and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities: You will utilize your experience in working with Zeiss Software and Accurate software to perform the following tasks: Programming: Develop, write, and optimize CMM programs to measure the dimensions of various parts and components based on 2D drawings and 3D CAD models. Quality Assurance: Conduct detailed inspections to guarantee that parts adhere to stringent quality standards and specifications. Analyze and report measurement results accurately. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to measurements or machine performance by making necessary adjustments to programs and processes. Maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance and calibration of CMM equipment to uphold accuracy and reliability in measurements. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to comprehend specifications, enhance product quality, and address any measurement discrepancies effectively. Documentation: Maintain precise records of CMM programs, inspections, results, and corrective actions taken to ensure comprehensive documentation. Training: Provide guidance and training to fellow staff members on CMM operations, best practices, and quality assurance procedures to enhance overall team competency. Experience: You should have a proven track record as a CMM Programmer or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. Familiarity with CMM software such as RDMIS, Calypso, CAMIO, Zeiss, and Accurate is highly desirable. Technical Skills: A strong understanding of metrology, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and 3D CAD software is crucial for this role. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings is also required. Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE Mechanical) is mandatory. Experience: You should ideally have 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in CMM programming. Salary: The salary range for this position is between 25k to 30k.
