We are seeking a results-driven Senior Process Improvement Engineer with Six Sigma Black Belt certification to lead initiatives that optimize our claims operations. Position Summary The Senior Process Improvement Engineer will serve as a strategic leader responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing process improvements within insurance claim processing. Leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies, the role will focus on reducing operational inefficiencies, improving quality, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The candidate will mentor Green Belts, collaborate across departments, and drive measurable outcomes that align with corporate objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end process improvement projects in insurance claim processing, using Lean Six Sigma Black Belt methodologies. Conduct root cause analysis, identify inefficiencies, and design innovative solutions to streamline claims operations. Partner with cross-functional teams (claims, underwriting, customer service, IT, compliance) to implement sustainable process enhancements. Develop and monitor KPIs to measure improvements in accuracy, turnaround time, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction. Ensure claims processes align with regulatory compliance and company quality standards. Facilitate workshops, kaizen events, and training sessions to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Mentor and coach Green Belts and process improvement analysts to build organizational capability. Prepare and present project updates, dashboards, and outcomes to senior leadership. Leverage automation and digital transformation opportunities in claims processing. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s preferred). Six Sigma Black Belt certification (required). 8–12 years of experience in process improvement, with at least 5 years in insurance claim processing or financial services. Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and change management methodologies. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver measurable business results. Experience with process modeling tools, data analysis, and statistical software (e.g., Minitab, Power BI, Excel). Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
