About the Company: We are an upcoming startup venturing into the industrial waste management, collection, and recycling sector. Our goal is to build a sustainable ecosystem for responsible waste handling and material recovery. As we prepare to set up our first recycling plant in Gujarat, we are looking for passionate individuals to join our operations team and help us turn our vision into reality. Job Description: We’re looking for an Operations Executive who will manage the day-to-day operations of our industrial waste management startup. This role involves planning, coordinating, sourcing, and on-ground execution related to collection logistics, vendor management, plant setup, and process control. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage daily operational activities for waste collection, logistics, and recycling plant setup. Support in planning and implementing operational processes, including waste flow, vendor sourcing, and plant requirements. Coordinate with vendors, recyclers, transporters, and local authorities for smooth operations. Visit sites, vendor locations, and potential partners across Gujarat for evaluation and partnership discussions. Maintain records of inventory, collection data, and material movement. Work closely with the founders to develop and optimize operational SOPs. Identify process improvement and cost optimization opportunities. Ensure compliance with environmental and waste-handling regulations. Assist in hiring and training future field and plant staff once operations expand. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related fields. 1–3 years of experience in operations, logistics, manufacturing, or waste management preferred (freshers with strong interest may apply). Strong understanding of supply chain and vendor coordination. Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and basic reporting tools. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel locally for on-field assessments and supplier visits. Passion for sustainability, recycling, and waste reduction initiatives.
