Monitor radiation exposure and use proper protective gear. Comply with local and national regulations (e.g., AERB in India, ARRT in the US). Technical Support: Perform regular maintenance and basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment. Report equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate patient records and log procedures. Upload and manage digital images in PACS/RIS systems. Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff. Assist during special imaging procedures or emergencies as required. Quality Control: Ensure image clarity and proper labeling. Follow department quality assurance protocols. Qualifications: Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging Technology. Certification/Licensure: Valid state or national certification (e.g., AERB license in India, ARRT in the US). Answer phone calls, emails, and patient queries promptly. Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and lab staff for smooth workflow. Collect payments and issue receipts as per the billing system. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow data protection protocols. Handle waiting room management and ensure patient comfort.
