About Ishan Namkeen Ishan Namkeen is a Gujarat-based manufacturer of authentic Indian snacks, rebranded to scale across India and export markets. With over 10 years of legacy in high-quality, hygienically packed namkeen, we are expanding our reach to new cities and customer segments. We are looking for a Sales Executive based in Bangalore who will be responsible for both field visits and outbound calling to build our customer base. The candidate will reach out to and visit stores, distributors, exporters, and wholesalers, helping us grow our retail and bulk order network. Key Responsibilities Conduct daily field visits to retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and exporters across Bangalore. Make sales calls to potential clients to introduce our products and convert leads. Maintain strong relationships with channel partners. Track competitor activity and pricing. Requirements Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the food industry is a must. Fluent in Kannada, Hindi, and English. Experience in both field visits and calling retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and exporters. Strong understanding of local market dynamics and customer behavior. Good communication and negotiation skills. Basic computer or Excel skills for reporting. Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a focus on execution. As the company expands its presence across India and global markets, we are seeking an experienced sales professional to spearhead our growth in Bangalore and South India. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving business development, distribution, and partnerships in the Bangalore region. Your focus will be on fostering long-term relationships with distributors, wholesalers, exporters, marts, and retail chains. The ideal candidate should possess substantial experience in the food industry and a profound understanding of the regional market dynamics. Your key responsibilities will include identifying and onboarding distributors, wholesalers, exporters, marts, and grocery stores. You will be required to establish robust relationships with retail outlets and regional buyers, pitch product offerings, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals. Furthermore, you will be tasked with developing new channel partnerships across Bangalore and neighboring cities, attending trade shows, exhibitions, and regional buyer events, monitoring market pricing, competition, and brand presence, as well as coordinating with the Head Office for stock planning, logistics, and delivery. Regular reporting on visits, opportunities, and sales performance will also be part of your duties. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the food industry, with a preference for snacks, namkeen, or packaged foods. Proficiency in Kannada, Hindi, and English is essential. A strong understanding of sales, distribution, and retail networks in South India, coupled with excellent negotiation and closing skills, is required.
