Role Description We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Patent Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between intellectual property (IP) services and business development by creating effective marketing strategies, promoting patent-related offerings, and driving client engagement. This role requires a unique blend of marketing expertise, technical understanding, and business acumen. Key Responsibility >Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote patent services and IP portfolio management. >Collaborate with patent attorneys, agents, and technical experts to translate complex IP concepts into client-friendly messaging. >Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential client segments. >Create engaging marketing materials—presentations, brochures, newsletters, and digital content—for patent-related services. >Manage email marketing campaigns, webinars, and educational events to generate leads. >Build and maintain strong relationships with inventors, startups, universities, and corporate clients. >Support business development efforts by identifying partnership opportunities and assisting in client outreach. >Track and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement. Qualification Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Science, or related field. Advanced degree or exposure to intellectual property law is a plus. Skill & Experience Proven experience (2–4 years) in marketing, preferably in legal, technology, or IP-related industries. Strong understanding of intellectual property concepts, especially patents. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics. Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, SEO). Strong presentation and client engagement skills. Ability to work collaboratively with technical and legal teams. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects. Preferred Experience in patent law firms, IP consulting, or technology transfer offices. Familiarity with patent databases and IP management software. Knowledge of B2B marketing and lead generation strategies.
